The entire Bolling family is devastated by the loss of their son. It sounds like he was an amazing young man that had a very bright future ahead of him. It is very sad to see something like that happen to a man that once had so much happiness in his life. Just one month ago he was as happy as ever, still on his Fox News show “The Five.” Now Eric’s life has been changed forever.
New reports have been released that show that his son, Eric Chase, committed suicide via drug overdose. This is devastating news for a family that prides themselves on conservative values. Eric Bolling has stayed largely silent over the past few weeks while the investigation was underway.
He did take the time, however, to say that he was going to sue the author of the hit-piece against him for $50 million. He also swore that he would do everything that he could to clear his name once and for all. None of that stuff matters now that his son is gone. His family will never be the same.
He just now came out with a statement regarding the death of his son. “Adrienne and I are devastated by the loss of our beloved son Eric Chase last night. Details still unclear. Thoughts, prayers appreciated,” he wrote.
Fox News also felt the need to come out with a statement:
“We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Eric Bolling’s son,” the statement read. “Eric Chase was a wonderful young man and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bolling family.”
Here is Bolling’s original tweet:
The news of his death first broke only hours after it was announced that he would not be coming back to Fox News. He and his family are going to need all of the support that they can get during this time of hardship. Many people from around the media world sent their condolences to the family:
This family will have a lot to go through in the next few weeks and months. It is a long journey that can only be completed with help.
